What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Welder/Fabricator - All Shifts position at Construction Solutions Group (CSG)?

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Position, fit-up, layout, cut, and weld materials according to shop drawings and specifications
- Interpret and apply AWS welding symbols and fabrication standards
- Read and understand Bills of Material (BOMs) to identify required materials and components
- Perform detailed quality inspections in accordance with AWS D1.1 standards
- Safely operate fabrication tools and equipment including torches, grinders, air arc equipment, and overhead cranes
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to pass an AWS 2G flux core multi-pass weld test on a one-inch plate
- Experience with multi-pass flux core wire feed welding
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing throughout the workday
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and workplace safety
- Willingness to work mandatory weekday overtime and voluntary Saturday overtime as needed
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- One (1 ) year of welding and/or fabrication experience
- Experience in structural steel or heavy manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with fabrication prints, fit-up, and structural welding processes
