This role supports a fast-paced workforce across multiple construction and industrial environments. The ideal candidate excels at building systems, managing HR projects, improving processes, and supporting field operations with accuracy and urgency. Construction experience is a plus, but not required — comfort working in high-tempo, non-office environments is essential.This position blends HR knowledge, compliance, and project management with hands-on operational awareness. Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations & ComplianceDevelop, maintain, and improve HR processes, SOPs, and internal workflows.Ensure compliance with labor laws, contractor guidelines, safety documentation, and company policies.Maintain employee files, onboarding documents, certifications, and HR records with accuracy.Support payroll coordination, timekeeping, and field reporting.Conduct routine HR audits to ensure documentation and compliance are up to date.Recruitment & OnboardingManage sourcing, screening, coordination, and communication for field and office roles.Execute smooth onboarding processes: paperwork, ID verification, safety requirements, PPE distribution, and orientation.Track onboarding status and ensure readiness for assignment to job sites.Training, Development & SupportAssist with planning and coordinating training (safety, compliance, skills development).Maintain training records and support identification of development needs.Provide bilingual support for employees regarding workplace questions or concerns.Operations & Field SupportWork closely with field supervisors and operations leadership to align HR and operational needs.Support project-specific HR requirements such as badge lists, roster updates, daily logs, and onboarding packets.Provide hands-on HR support in both office and field environments when needed.Project ManagementManage HR initiatives such as updating the employee handbook, launching HR tools, or redesigning onboarding.Track timelines, deliverables, and communication for HR-related projects.Ensure consistent implementation of HR standards across teams and job sites.Employee Relations & CultureServe as a bilingual point of contact for employees and leadership.Support a professional, respectful, high-standards culture across the company.Conduct exit interviews and provide insights to strengthen retention. Qualifications3 years of HR experience (specialist, generalist, HR operations, recruiting, or HR project management).Bilingual English/Spanish required.Strong understanding of U.S. labor laws, compliance, and hiring regulations.Strong project management skills and ability to create/improve systems.Comfortable supporting field-based, labor-driven environments.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and consistent.Proficiency with HR software, scheduling systems, and Google Workspace.
