Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives in asphalt production and contracting.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to ensure profitability and cost control across manufacturing facilities and construction projects.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and capital investments to support operational needs and expansion initiatives.
- Lead financial reporting processes, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with operations teams to interpret technical drawings, manage heavy lifting budgets, and optimize manufacturing workflows for asphalt materials.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards in production environments by integrating safety metrics into financial planning.
- Supervise accounting teams, internal controls, audits, and compliance procedures to maintain transparency and integrity in all financial activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing manufacturing data related to factory efficiency, assembly line productivity, and warehouse logistics.
Skills
- Proven experience in manufacturing management within a heavy industry setting such as asphalt or construction materials.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to factory equipment, assembly lines, power tools, hand tools, and mechanical assembly processes.
- Expertise in interpreting technical drawings and understanding factory or warehouse technical specifications.
- Skilled in forklift operation certification and manual handling techniques essential for manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with safety standards in production facilities to promote a safe working environment while managing heavy lifting tasks.
- Technical proficiency with financial software systems combined with a solid understanding of manufacturing metrics and warehouse logistics.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams involved in manufacturing, assembly line operations, and warehouse activities.
