Branch Manager – Construction Supplies House
The company provides concrete construction accessories, chemicals, equipment, and general construction supplies. In addition, the Company offers its customers a full line of rental equipment used in light, medium, and heavy construction projects. The company has multiple locations throughout the states of Ohio and Kentucky. It also services construction projects in Indiana and West Virginia. The Company’s business is built on delivering knowledgeable customer service in the areas of concrete forms, chemicals, accessories, and equipment.
The Branch Manager will be the face of the company to customers, contractors, manufacturers, and the industry. It’s expected the Branch Manager will enjoy face to face contact, providing solutions to customers, supervise a team of employees, and take pride in the fact they are making a significant contribution to many notable and major construction projects in the area.
Responsibilities include:
- Assume overall responsibility for sales, profitability, and growth of branch.
- Oversees all branch sales, warehousing, pricing, accounting, and customer relations.
- Approves all branch office expenditures for purchase of inventory, supplies and equipment.
- Will visit a wide variety of construction sites to help contractors problem solve.
- Handles important customer complaints and service problems.
- Assumes responsibility for the physical appearance of the location and maintenance.
- Performs duties inherent in supervisory positions.
- Ensures that OSHA and safety standards are observed.
- Reviews daily sales, open sales orders, open purchase orders, open transfers.
- Conducts regular and spot inventory counts.
- Enforces company policies and procedures.
- Manage the branch accounts receivables and keeps it current.
- Problem Solving- Each construction job site is unique and require competency, attention to detail, thorough resolutions. Propensity for math and excellent verbal skills are vital.
- Demonstrated computer skills including MS Office, CAD, Blueprint reading, Project estimating programs, etc.
- Any construction related certifications desirable- especially American Concrete Institute certificates
