Duties
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials to ensure smooth workflow
- Carry and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment around the job site safely and efficiently
- Support skilled workers by holding or handing over tools, equipment, or materials as needed during various construction tasks
- Help with basic tasks such as mixing concrete, digging trenches, or installing temporary supports under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency throughout the project
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during work activities
- Assist with loading and unloading supplies from trucks or storage areas to ensure timely availability of materials
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to stay informed about best practices and site-specific procedures
Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long durations
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while working under supervision in a team environment
- Good communication skills to understand directions and coordinate with team members effectively
