Construction Management and Development, Inc. (CMD) is seeking a Project Manager to join our Lender’s Advisor team, providing construction advisory services to financial institutions throughout the lifecycle of projects. The Project Manager (PM) works in conjunction with CMD leadership and the Managing Director of Lender’s Advisor to perform construction project plan and cost reviews, site inspections, and ongoing loan monitoring services. The PM evaluates project status, funding requests, budgets, schedules, and related documentation and reports findings and professional opinions to the Client. This role provides full-time support to the Managing Director of Lender’s Advisor and maintains frequent interaction with Clients, Developers, and General Contractors. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring lender advisory services are delivered accurately, professionally, and at the highest standard.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Managing Director of Lender’s Advisor
  • Meet with project teams to understand project history, scope, and status
  • Evaluate the Developer’s project team and assess suitability to execute the proposed project
  • Review project budgets, cost estimates, and construction schedules
  • Review environmental reports, drawings, and related documentation
  • Prepare comprehensive written assessment reports outlining findings and professional opinions
  • Review general contractor schedules for accuracy and feasibility
  • Review manpower logs, RFI logs, procurement logs, and other project documentation to evaluate progress and trends
  • Review borrower disbursement requests submitted for funding through loan reserves
  • Compare contractor payment applications against actual work progress and schedule
  • Perform monthly site inspections (travel required)
  • Schedule and coordinate required travel in ensure timely issuance of monthly reports.
  • Prepare and submit Monthly Project Reports outlining project status and findings
  • Maintain frequent communication with Clients, Developers, and General Contractors
  • Ensure lender advisory services are delivered accurately, consistently, and in alignment with CM&D standards
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field required
  • Minimum 510 years of direct construction experience, preferably including multifamily residential, hospitality, hotel, or industrial highrise projects
  • Strong technical understanding of construction contracts, budgets, schedules, drawings, and cost control
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with precision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Working experience with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Project, cloudbased filesharing platforms (Egnyte), and construction management software (Procore, BuilderTrend, etc.)
  • Ability to schedule and coordinate travel for site visits as required

Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
