- Lead and supervise installation crews on commercial and industrial refrigeration projects
- Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications for refrigeration and HVACR installations
- Lay out and oversee piping, brazing, and line set installation for rack systems, cases, and condensers
- Coordinate and perform system evacuation, charging, start-up, and commissioning
- Verify system operation, performance, and energy efficiency; support system optimization
- Serve as on-site point of contact for project managers, engineers, inspectors, and customers
- Plan daily work, assign tasks, and monitor productivity and workmanship quality
- Enforce jobsite safety procedures and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections
- Ensure proper use and care of tools, lifts, and installation equipment
- Coordinate material orders and deliveries with vendors and HVAC wholesale partners
- Troubleshoot installation-related mechanical, electrical, and controls issues
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, change orders, and as-built notes
- Train and mentor junior technicians and installers, supporting their technical growth
