- Lead and supervise refrigeration technicians on commercial and industrial HVACR projects from planning through completion.
- Coordinate daily work assignments, schedules, and resources to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.
- Perform advanced installation, startup, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems.
- Interpret construction drawings, piping diagrams, and electrical schematics to guide installation and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards, conducting toolbox talks and enforcing safe work practices.
- Oversee refrigerant handling, including recovery, evacuation, charging, and leak detection in accordance with EPA regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and asset management teams to support system design, upgrades, and life-cycle planning.
- Inspect completed work to verify quality, functionality, and adherence to specifications and codes, resolving issues as needed.
- Interface with customers on-site to communicate job status, findings, recommendations, and energy-efficiency opportunities.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate junior technicians, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
- Assist with estimating labor and materials, documenting work performed, and preparing technical service and project reports.
