What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Maintenance Technician position at Construct?
We are an established company seeking experienced professionals for residential maintenance. We are looking for someone to work 40 hours a week, and share in a rotating on-call schedule. Punctuality, flexibility, effective communication, and a can-do attitude are a must. Must have problem-solving abilities in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry. *** Minimum of 3 years of HVAC experience and an EPA card***
Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities:
Performing routine residential maintenance work orders including but not limited to the following:
∙ Minor drywall repairs and painting.
∙ Window screens and blinds
∙ Resolve electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair;
∙ Toilets, sinks, vanities, and disposals repair or replacements
∙ Removing bulk trash (including appliances)
∙ Prepare or complete service requests
∙ Inspect/repair exterior products like roofs, siding, fascia, and soffit
∙ Prepare and fulfill turnover checklists or inspections.
∙ Preventative or seasonal maintenance (such as winterization or pool openings);
∙ Lock installations.
∙ Basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry necessary, and general handyman knowledge
∙ Ability to move, transport, position, put, install, remove/replace 60lbs ascend/descend, work atop, traverse.
. Ability to repair roofs, siding, soffit and fascia a plus
Maintenance Technician Job Requirements:
∙ Ability to work day, weekend, and evening hours as required.
∙ Ability to communicate effectively.
∙ Valid driver’s license.
∙ Basic mechanical aptitude.
∙ Outgoing, self-motivated, and highly RELIABLE a must.
∙ High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
∙ Completed background check.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
