What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator position at Construct Talent?
If you are a Heavy Civil Estimator experienced with HHWY, WWTP, underground wet utilities, process piping, and are ready to immediately take over a project, WE NEED YOU!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare estimates by calculating data like take-offs, labor, equipment, and material costs.
- Evaluate the proposal drawings and specifications and determine the required contents of the estimate and scope.
- Develop bid package estimate documents.
- Travel when needed to assist with proposals and related issues.
- All other required tasks as needed.
Background Profile
- This position requires 2 years of experience in heavy civil construction proposal management.
- B.S. degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent years of experience.
- 2 years of estimating Heavy Highway, wet underground utilities (storm, sewer, water), or water/wastewater/WWTP.
- Proven experience delivering complex and large-scale proposals.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to communicate and write compellingly.
