What are the responsibilities and job description for the Central Sterile Processing Technician position at Constitution Surgery Center East?
Performs decontamination, high-level disinfection, and sterilization of medical-surgical instrumentation and equipment. Retrieves contaminated instruments from patient care areas. Expected hours for this role are 8-4:30 M-F.
Inspects, assembles, and sterilizes surgical instruments, ensuring instruments are clean, functioning properly, and sets are complete.
Performs required monitoring and record-keeping of sterilization and disinfection processes.
Prior experience preferred; certification in sterile processing preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
