Responsibilities
- Manage the sourcing, onboarding, and performance of contractors and vendors. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external service providers to ensure service quality and timely delivery.
- Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and pricing with vendors to ensure optimal terms and cost savings.
- Monitor compliance with contract terms, service-level agreements (SLAs), and company standards.
- Coordinate work schedules, site access, and task completion for external contractors.
- Evaluate vendor performance through KPIs, feedback, audits, and performance reviews.
- Ensure contractors and vendors adhere to all safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, legal, and operations teams to align vendor activities with business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, communications, and vendor performance reports.
- Lead the resolution of conflicts or disputes with vendors or contractors.
- Office-based with occasional on-site inspections or contractor/vendor meetings.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in vendor/contractor management, procurement, or facility coordination, with 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes and vendor lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in vendor management software and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards applicable to contracted work.
