Technical Sales Engineer

Constellation Search Group is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer for a full-time direct hire position. This role blends technical sales engineering with client-facing account management, without the need for cold calling. The candidate will inherit a substantial client base, focusing on maintaining relationships, driving customer satisfaction, participating in QBRs, and designing solutions to support various customer environments. Ideal for technical professionals with MSP experience, it offers a mix of technical responsibilities and consultative sales.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support an existing portfolio of clients.
• Execute technical sales engineering tasks including quoting, network design, and solution recommendations.
• Act as a customer-facing technical resource for account management and QBRs.
• Provide hands-on technical support across multiple customer environments.
• Support Office 365, Active Directory, ticketing systems, and basic networking needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, sales, and administrative staff.
• Enhance customer satisfaction with a flexible, communication-focused approach.

Qualifications:

• Experience with MSPs or in supporting multiple customer environments.
• L2-L3 technical engineering background.
• Experience or strong interest in transitioning to a technical sales role.
• Proficiency in Office 365, Active Directory, ticketing systems, and network support.
• Interpersonal skills and comfort in client interactions.
