- Lead and develop the Investment Operations team, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management to drive a high-performing, engaged team
- Oversee day-to-day investment accounting operations across a complex portfolio, including securities, derivatives, commercial mortgage loans, and real estate
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions, corporate actions, cash activity, and reconciliations in alignment with regulatory and company standards
- Partner with investment and finance teams to support both front and back office operations, ensuring seamless coordination and issue resolution
- Deliver accurate financial reporting across STAT, GAAP, Tax, and Management bases, including journal entries and general ledger support
- Support financial statement preparation, audits, and reporting for senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, implement solutions, and enhance operational efficiency

What Sets You Up For Success
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7 years of experience in insurance and/or investment accounting environments
- 5 years of experience in securities processing or investment operations
- 2 years of leadership or people management experience
- Strong knowledge of investment products, including fixed income, equities, derivatives, and real estate assets
- Solid understanding of STAT and GAAP accounting principles
- Experience with investment accounting systems (e.g., PAM, CAMRA, Maximis) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Proven ability to lead initiatives, solve problems, and drive results
