Constellation Health Services' Hospice Program is looking for people to visit individuals who have a terminal illness. Seeking individuals who have the ability to listen deeply, interest in and compassion for others, good boundaries and self-care, and meet people where they’re at in energy and tone.
Volunteers may spend time in conversation, read to a patient, look through photos together, share music or videos, offer a compassionate presence, or provide other meaningful support based on the patient’s interests and needs.

Just a few hours each month can bring comfort, dignity, and connection to someone nearing the end of life.
Requirements:
- Time: 4 hours per week. We request you are able to commit to at least one year.
- Orientation: Online training takes approximately 20 hours and is personally enriching, focusing on personal death awareness and hospice philosophy.
- Wellness: We ask that you have had at least a year from any close deaths.
- Time commitment: We meet virtually once time a month.
