Job Overview:
Wine Wholesaler seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager based in Columbia, Maryland.
This role involves managing the entire Accounts Receivable process.
- Setting up customers with credit applications.
- Maintaining and updating records.
- Posting all payments to customer accounts.
- Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary action to collect delinquent payments.
- Keep accurate records and report on collection activity and receivable status.
- Handling customer inquiries regarding billing issues.
- Handling Sales Rep and Driver inquiries regarding customer A/R and invoices.
- Reconciling and closing out drivers' loads daily.
- Manage monthly close of Accounts Receivable and mailing statements.
Individual must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
Minimum of 2 years experience in A/R
Ability to work independently and take initiative
High level of accuracy, efficient attention to detail, and accountability
Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time-management skills
