Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff and students
- Experience working with students in a school setting preferred
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions from lead teachers and administrators
Duties:
- Provide supplemental aids and services as directed by the lead teacher
- Support students in general education classrooms to promote success and inclusion
- Administer academic assessments as defined by lead teachers
- Monitor and supervise students in separate testing or small group settings
- Assist in collecting and maintaining student data
- Promote and maintain a positive and safe student learning environment
- Communicate regularly with staff and administration regarding student needs and progress
- Perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by administration
