About the Role
We’re seeking a highly analytical and ownership-driven Email Marketing Lead / Analyst to take full ownership of email and retention channels.
This role will be responsible for driving both new customer conversion and repeat purchase behavior through thoughtful lifecycle strategy, experimentation, and performance optimization.
You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and analytics teams to continuously improve personalization, engagement, and revenue contribution from owned channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Own email, SMS, and retention channels end-to-end across the full customer lifecycle
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns, newsletters, and automated lifecycle flows
- Develop segmentation and personalization strategies to improve engagement and conversion
- Lead A/B testing across subject lines, creative, timing, offers, and audience segments
- Analyze performance across key metrics (open rate, CTR, CVR, revenue per send, retention)
- Build and manage the promotional calendar in alignment with broader marketing initiatives
- Continuously optimize performance through data-driven insights and experimentation
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or growth marketing
- Hands-on experience with ESP platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, HubSpot, Braze, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with performance data
- Ability to design, execute, and interpret experiments
- Strong business acumen — focused on outcomes, not just activity
- Highly ownership-oriented and comfortable managing a channel independently
- Strong collaboration skills across marketing, creative, and analytics teams
Nice to Have
- Experience in DTC / eCommerce environments
- Familiarity with retention metrics (LTV, repeat rate, cohort analysis)
- Experience working in high-growth or startup environments
