Respiratory Therapist – Nursing Home (Constant Care)

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our skilled nursing facility in the Bronx. This role focuses on providing constant respiratory care to residents with chronic conditions, ventilator support, and complex pulmonary needs.
Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on care for residents requiring continuous respiratory monitoring.
Manage ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and oxygen therapy.
Administer respiratory treatments and medications.
Respond quickly to emergencies and codes.
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care team.
Document treatments and maintain compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications:
Licensed Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) in NY State.
BLS/ACLS required (PALS/NRP preferred).
1 years’ experience, preferably in long-term care or critical care.
Strong teamwork, critical thinking, and communication skills.
