Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electronics and have hands-on experience with equipment repair and maintenance. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic systems and components. A problem-solving mentality is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic components and systems.
- Source or fabricate replacement parts for electronic systems.
- Ensure all power and manual tools are operated in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide training and supervision for new technicians and apprentices.
- Carry-out scheduled preventative maintenance and service equipment.
- Perform equipment demonstrations and support the creation of training manuals wherever required.
- Interpret drawings, training manuals, and instructions in order to perform duties.
- Follow written, verbal, and telephonic instructions.
- Attend regular training workshops and reporting to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Associates degree or proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role within the electronics field.
- Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment used in electronics repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various electronic systems.
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and low voltage systems is preferred.
- Experience with field service operations is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
- Occasional overnight travel is required and applicants must possess a valid driver's license.
- Applicants must pass a background check and drug screening.
