We’re partnering with a well-funded, AI-first startup building a next-generation platform.
This is a chance to join early in the journey, working closely with a highly technical founding team to shape both the product and engineering culture from the ground up. As a Senior Platform Engineer, you’ll take ownership of core infrastructure and play a key role in building a secure, scalable, multi-cloud platform.
You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams in a highly collaborative, on-site environment, contributing beyond your immediate remit and helping define best practices across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and operate cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, networking)
- Own and improve deployment pipelines to accelerate engineering velocity
- Implement monitoring and SRE best practices (Datadog) to ensure reliability and uptime
- Partner with engineers across product, data, and AI teams to optimise system performance
- Build for scale, security, and resilience in a growing SaaS environment
- Embed compliance and security principles (e.g. SOC2, ISO standards) from the outset
- Continuously improve performance, cost efficiency, and scalability
- Contribute to internal tooling and engineering best practices
What They’re Looking For
- ~5 years’ experience in Platform / Infrastructure / DevOps roles
- Strong coding skills (Python, Go, or similar)
- Hands-on with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Experience working across AWS, GCP or Azure environments
- Strong CI/CD experience (e.g. GitHub Actions, Argo)
- Deep understanding of observability (Datadog preferred)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative startup
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting AI/ML workloads or data-heavy systems
- Exposure to security or compliance-focused environments
