ASSISTANT FACILITY DIRECTOR
OVERVIEW:
Consolidated Youth Services (CYS) is seeking a dependable, compassionate leader to serve as Assistant Facility Director. The Assistant Facility Director plays a vital role in supporting the management and daily facility operations. This position involves supervising direct care staff, working closely with youth while helping to maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
PAY:
- $20.00 ~ $22.00 per hour.
- Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked on Saturday and Sunday, bringing weekend pay to $22.00 ~ $24.00 per hour.
SCHEDULE:
- Rotation B evenings.
- Scheduled shifts: Every Monday, Tuesday and Every Other Wednesday 12:00 p.m. - 10:30 p. m.
- Every Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership and supervision to direct care staff during assigned shifts.
- Support facility routines, youth supervision, and program activities.
- Respond to behavioral concerns and crises with sound judgment and professionalism.
- Ensure staff follow agency policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Communicate incidents, concerns, and staffing needs to the Facility Director.
- Work collaboratively with case managers, clinicians, and other team members to support youth.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to remain calm, make sound decisions, and lead staff during challenging situations.
- Ability to work the assigned rotation, including weekends.
- Experience working with youth in residential care, behavioral health, juvenile justice, or a related setting preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
