Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Read and interpret plumbing, civil, and mechanical plans, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare accurate quotations for customers
- Research and recommend approved products that meet project specifications and provide the best overall value
- Coordinate with vendors, branch personnel, and corporate teams regarding pricing, product availability, submittals, and project timelines
- Assist in ensuring timely ordering and shipment of quoted materials
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors and internal teams
- Manage multiple bids and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Provide outstanding customer service throughout all phases of the estimating process
- Ability to read and interpret technical construction documents, plans, drawings, and specifications
- Experience estimating projects within the construction trades preferred
- Education or background in engineering, drafting, architecture, construction management, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient computer skills required, including experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office products preferred
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment
