What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Runner position at Consolidated Storage Solutions, Inc?
The Warehouse Runner supports the warehouse picker and warehouse loader on a daily basis. They ensure that the quantity of goods picked and or loaded match the customer’s outbound shipment (pick ticket and load sequence).
Specific Duties and Requirements:
· Load trucks using electric single or double pallet jack
· Hand stack product/material when required
· Count and inspect outgoing goods
· Print load/Order placards and apply them to product/ material skids
· Stage pallets/orders in proper locations
· Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, including those pertaining to safety, security and food safety
· Use computerized inventory control system to facilitate all product/ material movement
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor
· Equipment: Ensure the safe operation of handling equipment assigned to this function.
· Safety, Sanitation, Security: Maintains a neat, clean and orderly work area. Conducts operation in a safe and efficient manner. Identifies to supervisor any situation that may violate our security practices.
· Paperwork: Processes all shipping documents promptly. Turns paperwork into shipping and receiving office immediately after completion.
