Job Summary

• Support our manufacturing operations by managing the procurement of raw materials, production supplies, and services
• Being responsible for purchase order management, inventory control, supplier coordination, and supporting inventory reduction initiatives
• Working cross-functionally with Production, Planning, Accounting, and suppliers to ensure material availability and operational efficiency
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure uninterrupted production flow.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant purchasing processes
• Maintain high inventory accuracy and integrity
• Optimize inventory levels and reduce excess/aged stock
• Maintain reliable, compliant supplier relationships
• Act as a reliable partner to Production Control, Purchasing, Operations and Finance.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education & Experience

• Education: Associate’s degree in supply chain, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2 years of purchasing or inventory experience in a manufacturing environment.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• Working Environment: Primarily office setting with frequent trips to the shop floor.
• Physical Demands: Sitting/Standing for extended periods of time, able to lift up to 20lbs, extended periods of time using a computer screen & keyboard.
• Travel Requirements: up to 10%
• Required PPE: Check for required PPE in areas you may be working in
• Safety Glasses: Needed in all areas of the plant
• Steel to shoes: Needed in all areas of the plant
