What You'll Do
Performs a full range of office management and administrative functions in support of the Engineering Departmental manager's mission responsibilities as well as the mission responsibilities of his/her direct reports and support staff. Functions include managing information flow and communications with external and internal contacts; preparing a variety of written materials; establishing and managing records systems; providing advice on proper application of company policies and procedures; assuring compliance with office procedures and guidelines; coordinating a variety of plant services, and procurement of equipment and materials.

Minimum Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- OR an Associate degree
Preferred Job Requirements
Advanced education preferred
- The applicant should have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), records filing, and office equipment
- Ability to balance multiple tasks, set priorities, and resolve conflicts
- Knowledge of general office procedures, grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Working knowledge of Technical language and terms specific to engineering is desirable
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
