Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Food Service Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate has prior cooking experience, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while standing for extended periods.
Schedule & Pay
- Part Time
- 2 days a week between 9:30am - 5pm
- Pay based on experience
- Do not work with inmates
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes
- Food Prep
- Being a team player
- Providing the ultimate customer experience
- Ensure proper food preparation, handling, and storage
- Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Present food in an appealing and appetizing manner
- Assist with kitchen cleaning and sanitation
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Qualifications
- Previous cooking experience preferred
- Knowledge of special diets preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old (position located within a jail facility)
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation
