CM&W is looking for a 1st shift Material Handler at our Hannibal, MO location. Pay rate is $19.57 per hour.
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Receives and stocks raw materials in inventory by identifying type of material received, counts, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory. Assists in preparing finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product. Responsible for managing scrap dumpsters and assisting with the loading of trucks as needed. All while complying with company and safety policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory and turning in receipts as necessary signed and dated.
2. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
3. Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
4. Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
5. Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
6. Organize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts, pallets, cranes etc.
