Tour Guide – Underground Gold Mine Experience

One of the most unique jobs you’ll ever have is right here at Consolidated Gold Mines in Dahlonega, Georgia.
We are looking for upbeat, energetic individuals to join our team as Tour Guides. Our guides dress as gold miners and lead guests 20 stories underground in a real hard rock gold mine dating back to 1898.
What You’ll Do
- Lead guided tours underground for groups of guests
- Share the history of the mine in a fun, engaging way
- Blend facts with humor to create a memorable experience
- Ensure guest safety and provide clear instructions
- Deliver an exceptional, positive customer experience
What We’re Looking For
- Enjoys talking to people and being on stage
- Comfortable speaking clearly to groups of all ages
- Energetic, positive, and dependable
- Able to walk stairs and inclines multiple times per day
- Willing to learn (on-the-job training provided)
Schedule & Availability
- Weekends required
- Open 7 days a week
- Closed Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
- Flexible scheduling available (great for students)
- Full-time and part-time positions available
