Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Concrete sampling and testing
- Soil density tests
- Asphalt density tests and coring of asphalt
- Pick-up cylinders for transportation back to laboratory
- Sample onsite soil for Proctor tests / gradations / Atterbergs
- High school diploma or equivalent (Secondary schooling a plus)
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a criminal background, MVR, drug screen and physical upon offer.
- Work late nights or early morning on occasion
- Variable weekly hours, ranging from roughly 30 to 50 hours, depending on work day
- Ability to write coherent daily summary reports
- 1 years of materials testing experience preferred.
- Nuclear density testing certification and ACI certifications preferred.
- Knowledge of the construction industry
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
