Summary:
Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) is adding to our team in Ardmore. This is an entry level position that offers advancement opportunities to those who excel. CED is a nationwide wholesale distributor of electrical materials to the construction industry. We are currently seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Driver with excellent attention to detail to work alongside our team members in dynamic business. The Warehouse/Delivery Driver does a variety of duties related to the sale and distribution of electrical materials and processing of daily operations.
The preferred candidate should be a team player able to work independently and handle difficult situations to resolution. This position will report to the Location Manager and will work collaboratively with all sales channels to fill orders and do the associated paperwork. The candidate must have a strong drive to develop a familiarity with the all Electrical products, Electrical Industry experience prefered (Electrical apprentice, Electrical Wholesale, etc.)
This position performs various customer service & warehouse duties such as:
Provide Excellent, Friendly Customer Service.
Picking and palletizing orders.
Loading customer vehicles.
Loading & Unloading freight trucks.
Receiving and stocking materials in the warehouse.
Cutting to length products per customer requests.
Cleaning, organizing & sweeping warehouse.
Waiting on customers
Pulling and staging customer orders
Make deliveries to customer job sites and facilities.
Do associated administrative duties.
Performs other related warehouse duties as required.
Key Success Factors: Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills.
High School or equivalent education
Electrical industry knowledge prefered
Ability to safely use a pallet jack and forklift
Work well under pressure, ensuring both accuracy and efficiency
Ability to work well with employees and customers.
Provide Excellent, Friendly Customer Service.
Strong customer service skills
Ability to multi-task
Strong organizational and problem solving skills
Must be detail oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have good computer skills.
Must be a team player
Drivers License required
Other Pertinent Job Information: While performing the duties of this job. The associate is regularly required to sit or stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The associate may lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.

Minimum Qualifications:
In order to operate our trucks, you will need a valid driver's license and a clean driving history. A CDL endorsement is not required.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Willingness to undergo a background check.

High school diploma or GED
Working Conditions:
Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures. Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot/cold, rain and other seasonal conditions.
Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Essential Job Functions:
Legally operate a motor vehicle and maintain a driving record that meets company standards
Load all order fulfillment materials onto the truck for delivery and unload at delivery
Communicate any vehicle mechanical problems to direct supervisor
Perform daily inspection and maintenance on company vehicle
Deliver/pick up merchandise to/from customers and suppliers promptly, efficiently, and in a professional manner
Pick up material from vendors
Receive incoming freight
Keep a clean and organized warehouse
Stock material on shelves
Pick orders
Processing returns from customers and to vendors
Operate a Microsoft-based computer system
