Summary
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our team at CED. In this role, you’ll demonstrate strong knowledge of the materials delivered to our customers. The Driver/Warehouse Associate will safely operate company vehicles and handle all materials in accordance with our standards of service.
This position also supports daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products with accuracy and efficiency.
Flexible scheduling is available for this role, with opportunities to complete deliveries during morning or evening hours based on your availability.
Responsibilities
- Deliver company materials to customers and interact with the public in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
- Operate company vehicles safely and legally; maintain a clean driving record.
- Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including reading orders, picking, packing, loading/unloading trucks, and transferring materials.
- Move, sort, and store materials accurately in designated areas (racks, shelves, bins).
- Assemble, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and wire cutters, in accordance with safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment; perform general housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, dusting).
- Provide customer service support for will-call and walk-in customers as needed.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics preferred.
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment safely.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation within local areas.
- Electrical supply industry knowledge is preferred but not required.
