We are searching for a competitive individual to join our Electrical Distribution team and learn our business from the ground up.
While an electrical background will give you a head start, it is not required. Responsibilities will include a rotation through warehouse and counter sales to familiarize yourself with our business and processes. As a supplier for our customers, our business-to-business sales tend to be close, consultative, account management relationships, as opposed to high-volume cold calling.
CED is an industry leader in the electrical wholesale market, with over 700 locations nationwide. This position is with the Spearfish location and offers a long-term position with high growth incentives.
Responsibilities
- Provide the highest level of customer service in every role
- Build relationships and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers over the phone and in-person in a friendly and professional manner
- Support all aspects of the business including counter sales and warehouse duties
- Support existing sales staff including sourcing and quoting products and projects
- Meet commitment deadlines to customers and co-workers with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced environment
- Make deliveries in the company truck (CDL NOT REQUIRED)
Job Requirements
- Ability and desire to develop meaningful relationships with customers and coworkers
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Bachelor’s degree - will consider related experience instead of a degree
- Current, valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future)
