About the Role
As our Safety Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our safety-first culture. This is a high-impact role where you'll lead initiatives, mentor teams, and ensure compliance across all levels of the organization. You’ll “own” safety initiatives and be a key player in our Safety Committee.
What You’ll Do
Leadership & Culture
- Champion a corporate culture where safety is everyone’s responsibility.
- Provide expert guidance, coaching, and mentoring on safety initiatives.
- Collaborate with Trade Superintendents to meet each trade’s unique safety needs.
- Oversee safety training programs—identify needs, schedule sessions, and track completion.
- Lead training at Supervisor, Foreman, and Project Manager meetings.
- Participate in new employee orientations, ensuring proper PPE and safety awareness.
- Manage Workers’ Compensation claims and OSHA reporting.
- Continue to grow our Safety, Quality and Production (SQP) initiatives.
- Conduct job site audits to identify and correct hazards.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, implement preventive measures, and manage return-to-work plans.
- Promote the Safety Circle of Influence and hold all stakeholders accountable.
- Required: Proven experience in construction safety.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence and inspire teams across all levels.
- Detail-oriented with strong administrative and analytical capabilities.
