Job Summary

Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and electrical equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on air conditioning units, refrigeration systems , and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical problems with precision and efficiency.
- Assist with installation, upgrades, and modifications of building systems and equipment following safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and equipment repair.
- Proficiency reading schematics and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Service technician experience with a focus on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in commercial or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration technology--preferably ammonia refrigeration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a detail-oriented approach to ensure high-quality work.
