Aviation Aircraft Bench Technician Hydraulic Mechanic

Consolidated Aircraft currently has openings for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic bench technicians. As a bench technician you will functionally test, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul,various mechanical, electric, and hydraulic aircraft components.

In business since 1960, Consolidated Aircraft is an aircraft component repair and overhaul facility with customers all over the world, supporting military and commercial aviation. We operate a state of the art 30,000 sq. ft. facility with 60 employees, consisting of 40 technicians, 15 of those who are military veterans.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM with overtime In Person

Duties

• Every technician is responsible for repairing, troubleshooting, overhauling and testing aircraft components in accordance with FAA standards and manufacturer specifications, returning them to an airworthy condition.

Qualifications

Must have technical ability and own tools, preferred.

Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and repair manuals.

Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.

Military experience helpful but not required.

Aircraft experience and/or A&P preferred, but not necessary.

Electronic schooling required for the electronic technician positions.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and random drug and alcohol tests after hire.

NDT magnetic particle, dye penetrant position - will train

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
