Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Associate Attorney based in either Philadelphia, PA or Moorestown, NJ, with flexibility to work from home. The Associate Attorney will primarily handle employment litigation matters. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to think quickly, and the capacity to manage a caseload are essential. Responsibilities also include advising clients, drafting legal documents, conducting research, advocating effectively, handling all aspects of discovery, taking depositions, and managing settlement negotiations. The role also involves mastering legal technology, reviewing large volumes of e-discovery, preparing cases for trial, representing clients in court, and collaborating with the team to deliver exceptional legal services in employment-related disputes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in providing comprehensive legal advice and counsel to clients
- Excellent skills in legal technology, research and analysis of legal matters
- Demonstrated abilities in negotiation and advocating for clients in sensitive situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar and/or the State of New Jersey
- Experience in employment law or related legal fields is highly valued
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a hybrid environment
