Position Overview
Consilium Marine US, Inc. is seeking a Service Coordinator to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for meticulously planning, organizing, and managing service attendances, customer support cases, warranty matters, and Annual Performance Tests. You’ll play a central role in ensuring timely, standardized service delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction.
The Service Coordinator works closely with service engineers, the supply chain team, and engineering personnel to deliver top-tier support to both customers and other Consilium offices worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
· Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
· Plan service engineer visits in accordance with company standards and customer expectations.
· Prepare accurate service quotations and ensure all required documentation is collected and stored appropriately.
· Review service documentation and issue final customer invoices.
· Ensure necessary parts are available for each scheduled service attendance.
· Support internal training initiatives and occasional customer training.
· Conduct physical inventory counts as needed.
· Participate in vessel visits and customer meetings for educational and relationship-building purposes.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage both day-to-day tasks and long-term planning.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
· Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other ERP systems.
· Strong interpersonal and time-management skills.
· Proven ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
· A dependable, proactive work ethic.
