Duties
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using schematics, automotive electrical systems, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, suspension, brakes, and steering.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Service vehicles according to manufacturer specifications, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake replacements, and fluid flushes.
- Repair or replace ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) components and calibrate sensors for optimal performance.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
- Maintain detailed service records, prepare auto estimates, and communicate repair findings clearly with customers.
Experience
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrains, transmissions, and diesel engine repair.
- Hands-on experience with automotive repair tools including hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines.
- Familiarity with automotive schematics, ADAS calibration procedures, and auto estimating software.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to explaining repairs and building trust with clients.
