About the Position
We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Ancestral Lands Conservation Corps (ALCC) crew as Conservation Legacy Crew Members. In this position, you will have the opportunity to participate in challenging conservation projects, receive training and education, and contribute to the success of our program.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all aspects of the program, including conservation projects, education, training, and national service
- Collaborate with crew members and leaders to achieve project objectives
- Develop essential skills in outdoor living, travel, and work practices
- Contribute to a safe and respectful learning environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; commitment to acquiring HSED while in program acceptable
- Willingness to commit fully to the program and its mission for the full duration of the term
- Ability to work long days in adverse conditions and maintain a positive perspective
- Respect for the dignity and diverse lifestyles of Indigenous people
