Duties
- Install new irrigation systems, including automated control systems, ensuring precise setup and functionality.
- Conduct routine maintenance and system inspections to optimize performance and prevent issues.
- Troubleshoot system problems using electrical diagnostics and mechanical knowledge to identify faults quickly.
- Repair irrigation equipment such as valves, controllers, pumps, and sprinkler heads with precision.
- Perform excavation work using hand tools or excavators to access underground piping or install new components.
- Collaborate on landscaping projects by integrating irrigation solutions with overall landscape maintenance plans.
- Manage irrigation system upgrades and new installation projects from planning through completion, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining system operations and offering guidance on irrigation management practices.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience in irrigation system repair projects.
- Proficiency in electrical diagnostics related to automated irrigation control systems.
