Role Description The Architectural Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Sagamore Beach, MA. This position is responsible for supporting the design and documentation of architectural projects from concept through construction, including preparing drawings, models, and presentation materials. Day-to-day tasks include developing design concepts, producing construction drawings, coordinating details with the architecture and construction teams, and assisting with code and zoning research. The role includes collaborating with project managers and engineers, participating in client and internal review meetings, and refining design solutions based on feedback. The Architectural Designer will also support project documentation, maintain organized files, and help ensure that deliverables meet quality, schedule, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design.
- Candidates should possess skills in Construction Drawings and technical Drawing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Urban Planning and site planning concepts.
- Proficiency in relevant design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction practices is beneficial.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and time-management skills are required.
