Job Description: OVERALL OBJECTIVE: Drive client success by actively managing and assisting in the coordination of electrical utility projects. Oversee key tasks across all project phases, from initiation through close-out, to ensure successful and timely delivery. JOB COMPLEXITY/SCOPE: Project assignments are focused on supporting Electrical Utility Clients through management of transmission, substation, and distribution projects. Projects consist of cross-functional teams, involving various engineering and construction disciplines. Responsible for supporting the management of scope, schedule and budget on multiple projects. SUPERVISION: Work is reviewed by higher-level PMs. FLSA STATUS: Exempt JOB DUTIES: Administrative Document relevant project information such as stakeholder register, action items, change orders log, risk registers, and lessons learned. Schedule internal/external team meetings. Create agendas and document meeting minutes. Adhere to Document Control processes as required by clients. Oversight of construction permits and permit activities, ensuring that all required construction permits have been obtained and are followed by construction crews. Cost and Schedule Management Monitor project costs during all project phases. Facilitate the preparation of Cost Estimates. Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules. Oversight of project deliverables. Identify Cost and Schedule Variances requiring corrective action. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or closely related field Typically requires 3-5 years related experience Ability to travel to clients and/or project site. Ability to work at a fast pace, getting work done in complete, accurate detail and in accordance with standards and policies Proficient in the use of basic computer software required for project management (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint). PMP or CAPM certification preferred.
