Responsibilities
- Provide daily pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication, and engaging pets in stimulating activities
- Handle animals safely and confidently using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills
- Perform dog training exercises to promote good behavior and reinforce commanda
- Assist with veterinary-related tasks such as monitoring health, recognizing signs of illness.
- Communicate clearly with pet owners about their pets’ well-being and any concerns that arise during visits.
Requirements
- Prior experience in animal handling, pet sitting, or kennel work is highly preferred
- Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures is a plus
- Experience working with animals such as horses or other large animals is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- A genuine love for animals combined with a proactive, energetic attitude to ensure pets receive the best care possible

Job Hours & Days:
This position is best suited for someone looking for supplemental work. Pet sitting while extremely rewarding can be unpredictable from week to week. There are no set hours or days. I am looking for someone who has a very flexible schedule and is interested in adding extra income on an at need basis. Overnights are sometimes required.
