Conquest Racing is seeking a full-time GT Race Car Mechanic to join our professional GT racing programs.
We are looking for an experienced, motivated mechanic who takes pride in their work, has strong mechanical skills, and thrives in the fast-paced environment of professional motorsports. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong communication skills who understands the level of preparation, precision, and commitment required to compete at the highest level.
- Prepare and maintain GT race cars for race events
- Disassemble, inspect, clean, diagnose, repair, and reassemble race car components
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance between and during race events
- Assist with race car setup and adjustments based on engineering direction and driver feedback
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Assist with shop preparation and car builds between race events
- Follow team procedures and maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality.
- Minimum 2 years of professional race car mechanic experience
- Strong mechanical and technical skills
- Solid understanding of race car systems and setup
- Experience working on GT or sports cars preferred
- Ability to accurately diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- Comfortable working long hours and traveling extensively during the racing season
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective under the pressure of professional racing
- Strong work ethic and willingness to contribute wherever needed
