Job Title: Project Lead
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 3 Months possibility to extend
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting operations of a robust EV charging network on the electric vehicles & emerging technologies team at Austin Energy. The EV Operations Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams both internally and externally to ensure operation excellence of public and fleet charging infrastructure, high-impact EV programs, institute program enhancements, and provide research and analysis for emerging technology projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting operations of over 1,200 EV charging ports in Plug-In EVerywhere Network
Incentive processing and compliance verification for Austin Energy Electric Vehicle rebate programs
Generate recurring and ad hoc reports for management, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to support operational programs
Support data validation, quality assurance, and reporting accuracy across multiple EV programs and operational platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make EV operations more scalable and improve customer experience for EV charging
Participate in outreach and education events to promote programs and EV adoption
Provide regular operational updates to management and stakeholders
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement while providing exceptional customer service
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to manage and analyze large datasets utilizing Excel and other reporting tools
Minimum Requirements:
1-3 years of Project or program coordination/management
1-3 years of (Microsoft Office Tools) with an emphasis on Excel reporting
1-3 years of Customer service experience
Preferred (Optional):
Strong verbal and written communication skills a must
2-3 years of Experience with climate action solutions
2-3 years of Experience with electric vehicles and related technologies
Salary : $50 - $55
