Job Description
CPO/Wells FEC Job Descriptions
- Serving as a technical resource to the Capital Projects and Wells teams by providing guidance and assistance to the field and coordinating programs to validate compliance with environmental regulations related to: waste disposal and material reuse, waste minimization, wildlife, land, water quality, water use, spill reporting and prevention, and other related field environmental issues as required.
- Identifying environmental risks, issues, and mitigation strategies, and communicating with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
- Assessing field activities by conducting onsite audits and site visits to validate environmental compliance.
- Representing ConocoPhillips during agency inspections; and maintaining contacts and working relationships with local, state, and federal agency personnel.
- 3 years of experience in Alaska environmental compliance (spills, waste, water use, drinking water, land issues, permitting, field monitoring/study design, wildlife, remediation).
