The Role
As our Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the first voice clients hear and the person who keeps their coverage running smoothly. You’ll answer questions, process policy changes, and help clients understand their options. This is an entry-level position with a clear path forward. As you learn, you’ll move into quoting and writing new policies, and your commissions and bonuses grow with you.
What You’ll Do
- Answer calls, emails, and walk-in visits with a friendly, professional attitude
- Process policy changes, renewals, billing questions, certificates of insurance, and ID card requests
- Gather client information and quote personal lines (auto, home, renters, life) and commercial lines (general liability, property, commercial auto, umbrella, workers’ comp)
- Review coverage with clients and recommend bundles and add-ons
- Keep accurate records in our agency management system and carrier portals
- Follow up quickly on quotes, renewals, and open requests
- Learn directly from Connor and the team as you build your skills
What We’re Looking For
- No insurance experience required. We’ll train you. If you have experience even better.
- Excellent communication skills by phone, email, and in person
- Comfort with heavy computer use throughout the day, including multiple systems and data entry
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- A quick learner who is dependable, responsive, and coachable
- Interest in building a long-term career and growing your income through sales
- Customer service, administrative, retail, or hospitality experience is a plus
- Willingness to earn your Minnesota Property & Casualty license after hire. We’ll guide you through it. (Edit to match your actual requirement.)
