Role Description
This is a temporary, on-site role located in Philadelphia, PA for a Technical Support Technician. The technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance across hardware, software, and network systems. Primary tasks include troubleshooting IT issues, providing end-user support, maintaining systems and peripherals, and assisting with device setup and configuration. Additionally, the role involves responding to service requests, documenting technical issues, and ensuring smooth operation of systems in alignment with company needs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and peripherals, diagnosing system issues, and resolving network connectivity problems
- Familiarity with software installation, configuration, and update management
- Strong customer service skills to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users and provide timely support
- Experience with system documentation, asset tracking, and creating reports
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing technical environments
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or equivalent are a plus
- Previous experience in technical support or help desk roles preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is advantageous
