We are looking for a fixed income trader to join our corporate trading team. You will be responsible for supporting other fixed income traders and ultimately covering multiple industries while working closely with other traders, analysts, and portfolio managers to generate ideas that add value to our strategies and investment processes.

Responsibilities
- Collect and distribute market information to other traders, portfolio managers, and analysts
- Develop and improve market knowledge and skills required to execute trades and to add value to our strategies and processes
- Collaborate with analysts and portfolio managers on industry and issuer recommendations
- Provide primary and secondary market support to other corporate traders
- Create and improve analytics and tools that assist with idea generation
- Generate relative value trade ideas
- Execute corporate bond, Treasury, and money market trades as directed by portfolio managers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Wall Street sales, trading, and syndicate desks
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
- Basic understanding of markets and fixed income valuation and a willingness to progress on a steep trajectory
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail is required
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Bloomberg and Excel skills are required
- At least 2-5 years of experience in the Financial Services industry. Prior trading experience is not required
- Undergraduate degree in finance or economics or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred
- MBA and/or CFA preferred
